Agriculture farming stresses upon regular food supply with expansion, improvement in the agricultural mechanisms aimed towards maintaining a continuous supply. In various countries, like in India, the primary occupation is agriculture farming. However, no country can run without food, so its significance is undeniable.
Cotton and wool are two products that we get from raising sheep in animal farms and growing cotton trees. In such a scientific way of farming all our food sources from vegetables, wheat, hay, fruits, cattle, chickens, sheep, etc. are brought up for the livelihood. However, the result is very less, considering the hard labor one puts into farming.
1. Agriculture Farming And Livelihood
In reality, agriculture farming is not only about growing plants to get plant-based foods, but also animal farming for the required nourishment. It is based on production agriculture along with everything that’s important before and after the completion of farming. Technology, science, and engineering are core part of agriculture. For the improvement of animals and seeds, farmers use genetics. All the things that the farmers use for production are an indispensable part of it.
2. Animal Farms And Plant Farms
Excluding shellfish, caught fish and some other food sources, come from farms as there are both animal farms and plant farms to look after our sustenance. Not only that, many of the things that we use or wear, also come from these farms, like cotton, wood, etc. Only stone, metal, and plastic products come from outside the farm.
3. Agriculture Farming Is Primary Occupation For Many Countries
It is like any other type of job, a way to earn money. However, many don’t know that farming in many countries is the main source of earning. Many think that, by raising livestock and cultivating crops, farmers take care of only their own food source. But what these people don’t is a farmer sells most of his/her produce in exchange for money. This is how they take care of their family like in any other person in any other occupation.
4. Today We Have Specialized Farm
When my grandparents were little kids, farms were the same as we have seen in the children’s books. In those firms, there was every type of crops, cows, hens, pigs, and goose. They rarely went to town to get anything for food as on the farm there were everything they would need. However, from when they started to invest in farm equipment, the look of their farm drastically changed. Today, farmers usually raise one type of crop or livestock instead of all types. As they acquire technology, facilities, skills, and knowledge, needed for producing, they invest time in particular farming.
5. Farming Gone High-tech
Farmers now use drones, laptops, iPads, robots, and many more technological things for producing more crops and rearing livestock. Even, the livestock barns are installing webcams, Wi-Fi as well as automated feed. Some farms have climate control systems. With climate control, based on the requirement, farmers alter the temperature inside the farm. Many farms have generators to take care of the farm in times of power-cut. Now farming has become smart with the help of technologies and smart farmers.
